Voter Registration: Change your voter registration.
After receiving a new address, notify the post office to forward your mail, update your address with government agencies (like DMV, IRS, and Social Security), and inform financial institutions, insurance companies, and other relevant entities to ensure smooth transitions. It is the responsibility of the resident to notify all departments / companies.
Here's a sample list of what to do: (this is just a sample list and may not include all departments that you should notify and not all may apply to everyone).
DMV: Update your driver's license and vehicle registration.
1. Notify the Post Office (USPS): Go to USPS.com/move to request a change of address online or visit your local post office to fill out a form.

3. Inform Financial Institutions and Other Important Parties:
Marengo County E-911 will not be held liable for any incident that occurs if the resident continues to use their previous (old) address, does not post their new address, and does not notify all necessary departments of the change.
Social Security Administration: Update your address if you receive Social Security or Medicare benefits.
After you receive your new address
Doctors, Dentists, and Lawyers: Let your healthcare providers know your new address.
Veterinarian: Don't forget to update your veterinarian with your new address.
Utilities: Update your address with utility companies.
