Question?       What should I do to receive severe weather alerts?

Answer!          There is nothing for you to do in order to receive Severe Weather Alerts.  The Hyper-alert system does not                             require you to sign up to receive alerts when you are in Marengo County.

Question?       What should I do to receive community alerts?

Answer!          To receive community alerts you will need to visit the Marengo County Hyper-reach website

                       (see sign up information below).

Question?       How much does these alerts cost me?

Answer!          These alerts are free of charge and is a service offered by the Marengo County EMA office and the Marengo

                      County Commissioners.

Question?       Am I required to create an account to receive alerts?
Answer!          While you are not required to create an account for severe weather alerts you should create an account to                              receive community alerts and to have the ability to update your information within the Hyper-reach system.

Question?       How do I unsubscribe?

Answer!          If you have a user account, sign in and switch delivery mode for your phones/emails to off.

If you do not have a user account, sign up again with the exact same name/address and phones/emails but                            with the delivery mode set to off.

Question?       Why do I have to tell you my address?

Answer!          Many of our alerts target specific locations, down to the house number. We ask for your address so we can                              determine if you are in an alert area and send only those alerts to your location.

Question?       What if I have more than one address?

Answer!          By creating a user account, you will have the ability to set up multiple addresses/alerts and the ability to edit                        those addresses/alerts. If you did not create a user account when you signed up your first address, re-submit                          that original address and then sign-up for an account. Once your account is created, you will be able to add                            and manage addresses.
